![]() Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. If you haven't heard of this collection then you live under a rock. Fenty has taken over the internet with people retweeting thousands of tweets, mini tutorials on Instagram and several beauty reviews on Youtube. Like many other beauty lovers, I had to try this out. But also being a broke college student, I wasn't able to purchase any of the products from the collection. Luckily, my roomie's brother works at Sephora and was able to give me a mini Fenty makeover! He started off by using the primer which retails at $32. It felt very soft and hydrating. It felt as if I was just applying moisturizer. I think the primer was amazing quality, but I do believe the price is a little steep. I mean the foundation by itself is $34 and I just can't justify purchasing a primer for only $2 less. Next, he applied the foundation. And let me just say Rihanna...DID.THAT. Not only did she come out with 40 foundation shades (which is game changing), but the foundation is literally the best foundation I have ever used. It is so important that Rihanna represented all skin tones and basically made a shade for every person. The foundation is very medium to full coverage. After just one application my redness, and skin tone evened out. The foundation is definitely buildable so if you're a full coverage kinda person, Rihanna's got you covered. After my foundation was on, it felt like I wasn't wearing anything on my face. It was the most surreal feeling. So I would say this foundation is VERY light weight. Moving on to the match sticks. Those things are so cool! The packaging is very small and portable which is convenient, but they are also magnetic! There are so many types of the match sticks as well. There are contour, blush, concealer and highlight shades. I personally love the cheek stick called Chili Mango. I think it is a sassy red/orange that will give your complexion some edge. During my mini makeover, we used the contour stick and let me tell you, this thing is so blendable. I was honestly pretty nervous, because I have always been intimidated by cream contours. But my fear has been broken (Thanks RiRi!). I saved the best for last. The now iconic, golden, bronze, glittery, goddess like, Trophy Wife highlighter. I was in awe when I first saw this highlight break the internet. I was kind of bummed at the same time because I figured that I was too pale to wear that color. I was afraid it would look like a yellow chunk of glitter sitting on my cheek. Boy was I wrong. This highlight is to die for. I promise I am not exaggerating. When Josh applied it, he did a very light application. When I first glanced at my reflection, my jaw dropped. I looked so bronzed and so glowing, without looking gaudy or yellow. So all in all, this collection is AMAZING. I am obsessed and I cannot wait to get my hands on some on these products! I highly recommend you run to your local Sephora and buy this as soon as you can!
